      To allow for flexibility of the nose section we had to redesign the whole concept of a full face snorkel mask.

      The Equaliser Mask comes with a flexible silicone area, in the nose section, to be able to pinch your nose and equalise the pressure in your ears.

      Why is this important? Because, by pinching your nose, you are releasing and stabilising the air pressure inside your mask, which indefinitely allows you to snorkel longer and stay comfortable while you are doing it.

      And now, able to properly pinch your nose for equalization, you’re free to roam the beautiful underwater world with no worries.

      To combat this issue and prevent you from having a wet face or freaking out, we’ve included fully adjustable straps for a better matching on your face and a one-way drain system at the bottom of the snorkel mask.

      This way, when water comes into your mask it automatically drains back out when you surface or tilt your head back. No more having to take off your mask and empty it of water, or do that gross purging choke.

      Step 1: MEASURE YOUR FACE

      With mouth closed, measure from the bridge of the nose (or eye-pupil level) to the bottom of the chin. IMPORTANT! Measure in straight line and NOT over the nose!

       

      Step 2: CHECK THE MEASUREMENTS

      LESS than 12cm, select S/M

      GREATER than 12cm, select L/XL

      EQUAL to 12cm, for Women select S/M and for Men select L/XL

       

      Step 1: MEASURE YOUR SOLE LENGTH
      With a ruler measure the distance between the base of the heel and the tip of the big toe.

      FAQ

      Can you dive with the Ninja Shark Equaliser?

      It depends.

      If you are considering diving more than 3-6 meters we don't recommend to use a full face snorkel mask.

      That's because, using a full face mask, there will be an additional pressure on your face which for some might seem uncomfortable.

      We, here at Ninja Shark, dive up to 6-7 meters with the Equaliser, but that's after many months of practice by increasing the depth slowly.

      Most of the Ninja Shark customers go down to 1-2 meters, but the role of the mask is to snorkel and not scuba dive.

      Can you breathe underwater with the Equaliser?

      Yes, of course, but as long as the top of the tube is above the water.

      This is a snorkel mask and not a scuba diving mask.

      Since there is no oxygen source attached to the mask, you will have to hold your breath once you fully submerge.

      There is no full face snorkel mask that gives you the superpower to breathe underwater once the top of the tube is under the water.

      We are taking care of you with the dry-leak feature. Once fully submerged, the tube will seal and no water will come inside until going above the water again.

      I have the Equaliser mask, how can I test it?

      We strongly recommend testing any Ninja Shark full-face snorkel mask immediately you receive your delivery.

      The NEW Equaliser PRO now comes in 2 x main sizes and fits most 12+ year olds, it is highly recommended to use the size chart guide to measure your face and identify the proper size.

      Don’t wait until you’re on your dream holiday to try on your mask. If it doesn’t fit properly then it may cause leaking, which won’t be a fun time for you (trust me). We have a basic sizing chart guide and note on our product page.

      I strongly recommend you test your new mask before being by the water or on your next vacation. Here’s how to test it:

      1. Place the mask on your face,
      2. Tighten the bottom straps only (leave the top at the end of their line),
      3. Check with your finger that there is no gap or space between the mask frame and your face. Any space will cause water to leak in (and who doesn’t hate that?)

      Note: You want to tighten your mask as much as possible, but still make it comfortable on your face. Don’t overdo the tightness since you want to stay comfy in the water.

      Note 2: Having a proper seal around your mask is super important, I’m not playing around here! When you’re testing your mask do try to take the time to do it properly and make sure there is no hair or anything in between, and no sunscreen on your face.

      My mask doesn’t fit! What to do?

      The NEW Equaliser PRO that now (finally) comes in 2 x sizes has been tailored for both smaller and larger faces.

      We strongly recommend to place the mask on your face, tighten the straps as long as they are comfortable.
      After that, move the mask up/down and left/right until you find a better position to fit your face.

      If ,still, your Equaliser doesn’t have the proper fit, no stress! You can still try one of the other masks we have. We’ll arrange a swap for you, and you can test the Air snorkel mask on your face to see if it is a better fit for your face.

      If you already have the Air snorkel mask, test this one out and see if it fits differently. This mask has a totally different frame design to our Equaliser masks and is sometimes better suited for unique face shapes (you one-of-a-kind beauty, you!)

      What size for the Equaliser?

      We highly recommend checking the size chart guide and measure your face based on that.

      Equaliser works with kids?

      By default, the general recommendation is for anyone above +12 years.

      Now we know each face is unique and there are differences from person to person.

      That is why we strongly recommend measuring the size chart guide on the product page to make sure you sit between those recommended values.

      We do have many kids under 12 years that use the Equaliser, but they are known for a bigger face structure for their age.

      Do you offer express shipping?

      The tube is foldable or detachable for easy storage?

      The Ninja Shark Equaliser has NOW the tube foldable.

      You can fold it and store it safely without worrying losing it.

      What's the weight?

      We estimate the weight for just the mask around 600 grams.

      Does the mask put pressure on your nose or cheeks?

      There’s not so much pressure at all on the cheeks but obviously each face is unique.

      You have 30 90 days to get your mask and have a test to see if it fits and feel comfortable for your face.

      We have many customers that had previous facial surgeries and can't use the traditional snorkel. Equaliser was the best decision for them.

      The Equaliser looks very small (it's a kids mask?)

      No, the Equaliser is not a mask dedicated for kids.

      The Equaliser is an adult mask.

      But, you are right. The mask looks smaller than all the other type of full-face snorkel masks.

      That's because the entire frame is different, it doesn't have to cover your face - just apply to your face.

      How do you determine a narrow face?

      That's not so easy. But, if you had previous issues with hats, helmets, glasses, other gear it's the first sign.

      Usually, people with narrow faces know that from previous experiences.

      Due to the nature of the face and the mask, is hard to have a specific value for width. But on the height, we do have some guidelines and you can check the size chart guide on each product page.

      Don't forget you have 30 days to test any Ninja Shark mask and you can return should it not fit properly.

      Can you wear glasses with the Equaliser?

      No, sorry.

      Having a proper seal of the mask to your face is mandatory to ensure no leakage.

      Anything added in between the mask frame and your skin can cause leakage.

      Bloody love this!

      Never snorkelled in my life. Petrified of putting my head under water. But now my neck is bad - if I don't alter the way I swim - then no more swimming for me. This has opened 'a whole new world' - (haha -that songs stuck in your head now) - to me. I'm just using my ninja gear in my gym outdoor pool atm. My legs are getting so strong - and my lungs too - as I'm doing some great breathing. I have huge surgery coming up soon - and i believe this is allowing me to get to a great level of fitness - in preparation. Honestly - i can't go on enough about this product enough. My friend bought a cheaper version. She's given it away already... say no more 🤿🤿🤿

      While travelling in Timor leste l met a fellow snorkeller. We snorkelled for 10 days together the food was shit but the water was stunning. The friend was using Ninja Shark fins and mask mine were steaming up, letting in water and heavy. On arriving back in Australia l ordered straight away.
      I was a little bit anxious on receiving my order as the mask was quite different to my old one and the fins were short and adjustable ( l wanted them to be my size ! ) well to my luck the weather was beautiful ( yes mid winter in Mackay ) and perfect for boating so off we scooted to Cockermouth ( don't laugh it's a real place ) jumping in and WOW I'm now a mermaid 🧜‍♀️ the mask and fins felt like part of me. I actually cried as not only was the equipment allowing me to explore as l wanted but the reef was STUNNING. So lm indepted to Ninja Shark for making me the mermaid l always aspired to be 🧜‍♀️

      I wasn’t quite sure about getting a full face mask but bought mine (Electra package) before a trip to Tahiti which we got home from yesterday - absolutely LOVED it!!! I’ll be getting one for my wife before our next trip to a similar destination. BTW I make LOTS of crazy videos with lots of toys.

      Even better than expected!

      I saw the kids full face snorkel masks online, and thought they looked pretty cool. I ordered two for Christmas, for my 3 and 6 year olds. Wow, did they have a great time with them!

      I wasn't sure how the 3 year old would go with it, but he was comfortable in it almost immediately, and spent hours swimming around and seeing a whole new world of underwater scenery.

      They were easy to fit, zero issues with them staying on. No leaks or fog.

      They can't wait to get back to the water!

      Highly recommend this product :)

      I have NEVER been able to snorkel but love swimming. These full face snorkels are an absolute game changer in my life. Now I try to swim around 5 kms a week in the local pool. The Ninja mask makes it easy to do laps. I’ve been using the Ninja Shark for a quite few years and find the new Electra the best full face mask ever. No leaks, no fog and really easy to use and great quality. I’ve noticed my regular chats with other swimmers at the pool have encouraged many of them to purchase one of their own. I’ve given my older models to my grandkids and they love them too.

      The product itself was amazing, but the service we received allowed us to get our 2 sets of masks for our cruise. We took them with us and used them multiple times for snorkelling on our cruise to Nouméa and New Caledonia. It was amazing snorkelling and being able to breathe easily, and the fins were the most comfortable I've ever used. I've got size 13 feet, and not only were they completely adjustable, but they were THE most comfortable fins ever invented. A massive shoutout to Colleen Zamora from your support staff who helped me out and made it possible to take our gear on holidays! Thanks Colleen!

      Fantastic snorkel!

      Our 5 year old has never snorkelled. Put it on and was snorkelling no problem straight away! Easy for him to put on and off by himself. We bought the full package with flippers (also amazing and he can put them on by himself) and the two wet bags. The foldable snorkel is so handy for storing while we are travelling. And the lifetime warranty gives us great comfort that we can use it for future trips! We are so impressed with this product I’m going to get mum and dad one too!
